ALT MOBILE TYRE COMPANY LIMITED
Customer Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: 23 May 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to mobile tyre fitting, tyre replacement, puncture repair, roadside tyre assistance and other related services provided by ALT MOBILE TYRE COMPANY LIMITED (“we”, “us” or “our”) to the person or organisation requesting the service (“the Customer”).
By booking, requesting or accepting our services, the Customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Our Services
We provide mobile tyre and roadside tyre services, which may include:
Mobile tyre fitting and replacement
Emergency roadside tyre replacement
Puncture inspection and repair
Wheel removal and refitting
Tyre pressure checks
Valve replacement
Locking wheel nut assistance where agreed
Other related roadside tyre services
All services are subject to availability, location, road and weather conditions, vehicle condition and our ability to carry out the work safely.

2. Booking and Customer Information
The Customer must provide accurate information when making a booking, including where applicable:
Vehicle registration
Vehicle make and model
Tyre size
Current location
Nature of the tyre problem
Contact details
We will not be responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the Customer.
Where an incorrect tyre has been requested or supplied because the Customer provided incorrect vehicle or tyre information, additional charges may apply.

3. Prices and Quotations
Where possible, the price of the service will be agreed with the Customer before work begins.
Quoted prices may include the tyre, mobile call-out, fitting, valve and disposal of the old tyre where stated.
Additional charges may apply where additional work is required, including but not limited to:
Damaged or seized wheel nuts or bolts
Missing or damaged locking wheel nut keys
Damaged wheels
Additional tyres or parts
TPMS-related work
Work not reasonably identifiable before arrival
Additional travel caused by an incorrect location being supplied
We will explain any material additional charges to the Customer before carrying out additional chargeable work wherever reasonably possible.

4. Payment
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work unless alternative payment terms have been agreed in writing in advance.
We may require full or partial payment before dispatching a technician or ordering a specific tyre.
Payment may be made using the payment methods accepted by us at the time of booking.
The Customer remains responsible for payment where a service has been requested on their behalf unless another organisation has expressly accepted responsibility for payment.

5. Arrival Times
Any estimated arrival time is an estimate only and is not guaranteed.
Mobile roadside services can be affected by traffic, weather, road closures, technician availability, previous emergency jobs and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to attend within the estimated time provided and will inform the Customer of significant delays where reasonably practicable.

6. Safe Working Conditions
Our technicians will only carry out work where they consider it safe and lawful to do so.
We may refuse, suspend or relocate work where there is a risk to the Customer, technician, vehicle or other road users.
This may include vehicles located:
In a live traffic lane
In an unsafe motorway location
On unstable or unsuitable ground
In a location with inadequate working space
In any other location our technician considers unsafe
The Customer must follow reasonable safety instructions given by our technician.

7. Vehicle and Wheel Condition
The Customer is responsible for informing us of any known damage or problems affecting the wheels, tyres, wheel nuts, locking wheel nuts, suspension or related components.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or defects.
Where components are corroded, seized, damaged, overtightened or previously incorrectly fitted, there may be a risk of further damage during reasonable attempts to remove them.
If our technician believes that continuing the work may cause damage or create a safety risk, we may stop the work and explain the available options to the Customer.

8. Locking Wheel Nuts
Where the vehicle uses locking wheel nuts, the Customer should provide the correct locking wheel nut key.
If the key is missing or damaged, we may offer a locking wheel nut removal service where appropriate.
Removal of seized or damaged locking wheel nuts can involve additional risk to the locking nut, wheel, stud or bolt. We will explain any significant known risks before carrying out the work.
Additional charges may apply.

9. Tyre Selection and Suitability
Tyres will be selected based on the information available to us, including tyre size, vehicle details and manufacturer specifications where reasonably available.
The Customer should inform us of any specific requirements, including:
Run-flat tyres
Reinforced or XL tyres
Manufacturer-approved tyres
Specific load or speed ratings
Matching tyre brands or patterns
Special vehicle requirements
Replacement tyres will meet applicable legal requirements and be reasonably suitable for the vehicle based on the information supplied to us.

10. Puncture Repairs
Not every punctured tyre can safely or legally be repaired.
Any puncture repair is subject to inspection by our technician.
We may refuse to repair a tyre where, in our professional judgment, repair would be unsafe or inappropriate due to the location or extent of the damage, tyre condition, previous repairs or any other relevant safety issue.
Where a tyre cannot be repaired, we may offer a replacement tyre at an additional agreed cost.

11. Customer-Supplied Tyres or Parts
Where we agree to fit tyres, valves or other parts supplied by the Customer, the Customer is responsible for ensuring that those items are correct and suitable for the vehicle.
Our responsibility in these circumstances is limited to the fitting service we provide.
We do not provide a warranty for the quality, manufacturing condition, age, origin or suitability of customer-supplied tyres or parts, although this does not affect the Customer’s legal rights regarding the fitting service itself.

12. Warranty and Faults
We will perform our services with reasonable care and skill.
If the Customer believes there is a problem with our workmanship, they should contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide details of the issue.
We must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle, tyre or work concerned before third-party repair work is undertaken, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary for safety.
Any manufacturer’s warranty applying to a tyre or other product supplied by us remains subject to the relevant manufacturer’s warranty conditions.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects the Customer’s statutory rights.

13. Wheel Nuts and Vehicle Checks
Wheel nuts or bolts will be fitted using appropriate procedures and equipment.
The Customer should follow any instructions provided by our technician and any recommendations specified by the vehicle or wheel manufacturer concerning wheel-nut or wheel-bolt checks following tyre replacement.
If the Customer notices vibration, unusual noise, loss of tyre pressure or any other unusual behaviour after our work, the vehicle should be stopped as soon as it is safe to do so and the Customer should contact us.

14. Cancellation and Call-Out Charges
The Customer should notify us as soon as possible if a booking needs to be cancelled.
Where a technician has already been dispatched, has arrived at the location, or costs have already reasonably been incurred, a call-out or cancellation charge may apply where permitted by law and where the Customer has been informed of the applicable charge.
For emergency or urgent repair or maintenance services specifically requested by the Customer, statutory cancellation rights may differ from those applying to standard distance bookings.
Nothing in this section limits any cancellation rights the Customer has under applicable consumer law.

15. Failure to Carry Out the Work
We may be unable to complete a job because of circumstances including:
Unsafe working conditions
Incorrect tyre or vehicle information
Mechanical defects
Severely damaged or seized components
Missing locking wheel nut keys
Vehicle modifications
Lack of suitable access
Circumstances outside our reasonable control
Where attendance has already taken place, a reasonable call-out or attendance charge may still apply where this was explained to the Customer and is permitted by law.

16. Old Tyres
Unless otherwise agreed, tyres removed by us may be taken away for appropriate disposal.
If the Customer wishes to retain an old tyre, they should inform the technician before it is removed from site.

17. Liability
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or restricts liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
We are responsible for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by our failure to exercise reasonable care and skill or by our breach of these Terms and Conditions.
We are not responsible for loss or damage resulting from:
Pre-existing vehicle, tyre or wheel defects
Incorrect information supplied by the Customer
Failure to follow safety or aftercare instructions
Defective customer-supplied parts or tyres
Events outside our reasonable control
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects any rights or remedies available to a consumer under applicable law.

18. Personal Information
We may collect and use personal information necessary to provide our services, process payments, communicate with Customers, maintain service records, deal with complaints and comply with legal obligations.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.
We may share information with third parties where necessary to provide the requested service, process payment, comply with the law or where the Customer has authorised us to do so.

19. Services Requested Through Third Parties
Where our services are arranged through a breakdown provider, fleet company, insurer, assistance provider or another organisation, these Terms and Conditions will apply to the service we perform unless alternative contractual arrangements have been agreed.
Payment responsibility will depend on the arrangements between us, the Customer and the referring organisation.
The Customer may remain responsible for charges for work that is not authorised or covered by the referring organisation.

20. Complaints
If the Customer is dissatisfied with any part of our service, they should contact us as soon as possible so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter.
Please provide:
Customer name and contact details
Vehicle registration
Date and location of service
Details of the issue
Photographs or other supporting information where relevant
We will aim to investigate complaints fairly and within a reasonable period.

21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
The Terms and Conditions applicable to a booking will normally be those in force when the booking is made unless a change is required by law.

22. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom.
If the Customer is a consumer, nothing in these Terms and Conditions removes any mandatory legal rights the Customer may have regarding where a dispute may be brought.
